How to add an event

Note: Only vendors have access to Add Events.

1- Go to Dashboard>Add Events

2- Add a Title, image and description for your event.

3- Set the date and time of your event. Also, you can set up your event during the whole day and without a specific time, or you can hide the end time from a single events page; or both the start and end time.

Also, you can enter notes such as time zone here, it appears next to event time on the Event Page.

Countdown: This feature adds the ability to change the countdown method and visibility of events on shortcodes. like counting countdown until event end.

4- Here, you can add external links and/or info links to your event so that when your users click on them, they’ll be directed to another page with extra information on the event.

5- Add the event cost, featured image, event color, and tags.

6- You can set event repeats and end repeat for your events here as well. Enable “Show only one occurrence of this event” option if you do not want the next occurrences of events to be displayed. You can also repeat the event at different times using the “custom days” option.

7- You can set an hourly schedule for your event. For example, if your event starts at 8 A.M. and continues until 6 P.M., then you can set an hourly schedule from 8 to 10, and specify the plan or content of these two hours. There is no limit for defining hourly schedules.

8- You can specify the venue, plus the name of the place, address, coordinates, etc.

9- Add your organizer here. You can then fill the form with the information of your organizer. This information includes name, phone number, email address, and website or link.

10- Total Booking Limits feature gives you the ability to set a limit for a particular number of tickets to be sold. For example you can create a event and set two types of tickets for it such as regular or vip and set a limit for each type of ticket.

Total User Booking Limit is almost like the “total booking limits” option. but based on the user IP at first and then User Registration email. you can set a limitation from the booking settings or set a limitation for a specific event.

11- You can disable the payment gateway for this event’s tickets. Ex: If you are creating a FREE event you can disable the payment system so users that register for your event don’t need to go through payment process.

12- You can add tickets for your event and create tickets with different titles.

13- Build your booking registration form here (This form will be used for all attendees).

14- SEO Schema section for informing search engines (Google, Bing, etc) about your events so they can manage your events better. Therefore you can use these statuses to be more Search Engine Friendly.

Now you can submit your first event to be published to the Bogosplit calendar!
